2012grant.jpgOptec announces the results of the contest on the grants support for young scientists from leading high educational institutions and scientific research centres. In this year there were 370 applications and 268 of them were reviewed by the specialists in respective areas. After the evaluation was approved, 96 applications received the grant support and this is 28 winners more than in the 2010-11 years. The scientific researches we presented by the undergraduate and postgraduate students, research staff under the age of 35 years. They participate in the scientific and teaching activities: biology, medicine, chemistry, materials science geology, physics and nanotechnology. The winners will receive grants in accordance with the number of points they gained for their research.
    
2012Rigaku.jpgRigaku Corporation, one of the world's leading manufacturers of analytical and industrial x-ray equipment and Optec, a supplier of effective solutions in the field of science, education, industry and medicine in Russia, CIS countries and Georgia, has signed the agreement, according to which Optec becomes a partner of Rigaku in sales and maintenance of the equipment throughout the territory of their activities. Optecs solutions for materials science and nanotechnology were supplemented by the X-ray crystallographical analysis, and having no affect on a neutron x-ray control. Within the development of the partnership, specialists from Optec are obliged to undergo the necessary training, including the manual service skills for the entire range of Rigaku tools.     

Optec announced that the regional representative of the company operates in the Republic of Moldova.Sergei Dulger will represent the companys interests and strategy in this area.


2012NNopen.JPGOn 8 November 2012, a new Optec office was solemnly opened in NIzhniy Novgorod. The event was attended by the heads of all departments and branches from different countries. The director of Optec in Russia and the CIS, Maxim Igelnik, together with the director of Optec central branch, Andrei Goldenberg, opened the final stage of the ceremony.


  
2012podpisanie.jpgOn October 30,  at the company's office in St. Petersburg, the ceremonial signing of the distribution agreement between the company Carl Zeiss AG and Optec took place. According to the agreement, which is signed for five years, Optec represents, on exclusive rights, the products and solutions of Carl Zeiss in the following areas: Medicine (Carl Zeiss Meditec), microscope (Carl Zeiss Belogurova) and industrial metrology (Carl Zeiss Industrial Metrology) in Russia, the CIS and Georgia.
